The Guilford Art League’s Annual Member Show is on view at the Guilford Free Library through the month of March. The (optional) theme of the show is “Recycling,” which can be seen in many of the 37 pieces on display in the Library’s corridor and Meeting Room. An Opening Reception will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. in the Meeting Room.
There is a wide range of styles and media in this year’s show — oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, prints, mixed media and photography — reflecting the diverse talents of the League’s 170 members.
All are for sale (except two pictures) and further details may be obtained from Denise Casey, dencasey@comcast.net or Sheila Kaczmarek, sheila.f.Kaczmarek@gmail.com.
The Guilford Art League was founded in 1947 by a small group of local artists. The objective of the art league is to promote and stimulate interest in the visual arts. Members and associates of the Guilford Art League are a participating and interactive group of artists who learn and benefit from their association with one another.
