“Chasing the Light”
All entries are welcome but we’d love you to consider submitting a piece that reflects a quality of light (or its absence). Light is fleeting, ephemeral, essential. Feel free to play with the idea of light. We look forward to your entries!
Even after all this time
the sun never says to the earth,
“You owe me.
Look what happens with
a love like that,
it lights the whole sky.

Poetry Event
On Sunday, March 17, 1:30–3:30 pm, members of the Guilford Poets Guild will read poetry inspired by our paintings in this show. GAL has held ekphrastic poetry readings—poems inspired by other works of art—in the past. They have always been very popular, and we are delighted to “collaborate” with the poets guild again.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s work in the show,
and we hope to meet you all at the reception and the poetry reading!
